A question...Lately with some of the pics i've faved, as well as looking at some galleries i have on my watch that have submissions with contain the in-built dA watermark, i find myself increasingly becoming distracted by them and not able to focus on the detail and effort that some of these artists put into their art...
I'm also someone who does save copies of the pics that i fave for personal enjoyment, but seeing stuff like that also sometimes makes me very reluctant to do so with some of these submissions.
So what do you think about this issue - is watermarking a help or a hinderance?:
( ) Yes. I find that watermarking diminishes the quality of the work and usurps the overall effect of the artist's creation.
( ) No. The artist is protecting and maintaining their intellectual property and just trying to prevent unlawful use of their stuff.
