in relation to dA's policy on tracers...Some sage words of acknowledgement were recently expressed in a comment posted on the journal entry posted by
yesterday:"How do they deal with the growing art theft problem? They legalize it. Way to go, dA. Chase away professionals that have been here for 6 years and leave the art thieves. It won't be long before this site becomes deviantArtTheft."

QUESTION: Do you think that the original artists should be punished when a tracer/thief makes a claim to that person's artwork?
I don't think so, and whoever is responsible for this latest gaffe should be sacked.
